Cinema room, in perspective

The room that only exists for the evening. You stand behind the back row: the screen on the far wall with its masking bars, the projector above your head, speakers all round you, a riser with three recliners and two more in front. Same rules: tap anything with a label, the drawing reacts, the card on the right shows that device and what we would automate. The point here is the Movie scene: one tap and the lights fade to nothing over ten seconds, the stars come out on the ceiling, the bars move to the film's format, the sound is set, the blind is down, the popcorn is warm. Someone opens the door mid-film and the lights come up to ten percent by themselves.

Fourteen things to tap: the projector, the screen with its masking bars, the Dolby Atmos speakers (left, centre, right, two surrounds, two rears, two in the ceiling and the subwoofer), the lighting scenes, the star ceiling, the blackout blind, the five recliners, the AV rack, the popcorn machine, the mini fridge, the aircon, the thermostat, the door with the now-showing poster, the wall tablet. In the day: the cleaner gets full light in the morning, the room closes itself up, the rack takes a firmware update at lunch, the poster changes for tonight at seven, the pre-show runs itself at half past, the Movie scene lands at five to eight, an intermission, a door opening mid-film, the credits, and a quiet shutdown after.
