Garden, in perspective

Outside now. You stand at the back door: the patio in front of you, the lawn running to the hedge and the side gate, fences left and right, open sky above. Same rules: tap anything with a label, the drawing reacts, the card shows that device and what we would automate. The garden mostly runs itself: the sprinklers before dawn unless it rained, the mower in stripes mid-morning, the pond pump by daylight, the greenhouse vent by temperature, path lights at dusk, and the floodlight and camera when something moves at night. Rain (demo) on the weather card shows how one sensor changes the rest.

Sixteen things to tap: the robot mower and its dock, three irrigation zones (two lawn sprinklers and the drip line in the bed) with the hose tap valve, the weather station, the soil sensor, the rain barrel, the pond pump and fountain, the greenhouse vent, the bird feeder camera, the fairy lights on their plug, the path lights, the floodlight with its camera, the outdoor speaker, the patio heater, the side gate lock and the wall tablet by the back door. In the day: watering at 05:30, the pump at 07:00, the gate opens for the gardener at 09:00, a robin at the feeder, the mower in stripes from 10:00, the vent at 26°, rain at 14:00 that skips tonight's watering and fills the barrel, dinner outside at 18:30 with the heater and the speaker, path lights and fairy lights at dusk, a fox at ten past ten.
