Same living room and the same kit, now drawn as a room seen from the doorway: back wall, side walls, ceiling and a floor that recedes, furniture as boxes with a top and a side, and the roomba shrinking as it drives to the back. The house elevation stays as the map; tapping the Living window opens this drawing. Everything with a label is tappable: the drawing reacts and the card on the right becomes that device's controls, with what we would automate for it. The card opens on the wall tablet; when an automation fires, the device lights up as selected and the card shows it, then returns to the wall tablet by itself. ← Room goes back to the room view, ← House back to the map.
Fourteen things to tap: main lights, tower lamp, highboard lamp, the window with blinds, curtains and sheers, oil diffuser, air purifier, booster fan, radiator and thermostat, TV, Sonos, Alexa, smart plug, robot vacuum, wall tablet. The day plays at about eight seconds an hour and skips through the quiet hours. At each automation a note pops up at the device and the room changes. The roomba sweeps the whole floor in several passes leaving a trail, then docks itself and empties its bin, and does a shorter spot clean in the evening. The purifier reads dust rising while it cleans and boosts. The radiator and booster show heat while the room warms.
