Fifth room, now drawn as a room seen from the door. Same rules: tap anything with a label, the drawing reacts, the card shows that device and what we would automate. The study is a working room: the desk wakes up when you sit down, a busy light outside the door follows your calendar, the air sensor nags when the CO₂ creeps up, and the 3D printer runs on its own plug and switches itself off when the print is done. Start a print from the printer card to watch it.
Twenty-two things to tap, now also: the standing desk, the webcam with meeting mode, the e-ink calendar, the NAS, the laser printer on a plug, the window contact, a desk plant, a floor lamp, the smart speaker and the charging pad. The original eleven: ceiling lights, desk lamp, the desk with monitor and PC on a smart plug, 3D printer on its own plug, air sensor, purifier, booster fan, curtain and sheer, radiator, oil diffuser, busy light on the door, wall tablet. In the day: the room warms before you start, the desk wakes when you sit down, the busy light goes red for your 09:00 call and the monitor shows do-not-disturb, the air sensor asks for a window at 1,200 ppm and the purifier boosts, the 3D printer runs a three-hour print and powers itself off after cooling, lunch sends the monitor to sleep, and everything on the desk is off at the end of the day.
